Two members from Research Executive Agency (REA) of the European Commission visited Matís on September 7th to monitor the progress of two Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) Individual Fellowships (IF) projects that are currently ongoing at Matís.
These are SilhouetteOfSeaweed (project No. 656596) carried out by Dr. Ásta H. E. Pétursdóttir and AstroLakes (project No. 704956) carried out by Dr. Gregory K. Farrant.
Dr. Agne Dobranskyte-Niskota, Research Programme Officer, IF ECOSOC panel leader and Sophie Doremus, Legal Adviser opened the day with an introductive presentation on the MSCA initiative followed by a presentation of Matís by Dr. Helga Gunnlaugsdóttir. The MSCA researchers then presented their background and progress of their projects followed by individual interviews with the members from REA. The day finished by a site visit of Matís facilities.
